Behind the Veil: A First-Person View from the Lunar Tower Standing inside the Lunar Tower, the building’s exterior heavy mass dissolves into a delicate, lace-like screen. From this vantage point, the perforated aluminum skin acts not as a wall, but as a framing device. I am surrounded by thousands of precision-cut apertures, algorithmically designed to mimic the density of the mangrove forest below. The experience is immersive; the low-reflective metal softens the harsh tropical sun, filtering it into a cool, dappled light that dances across the spiral staircase. Looking out, the facade fractures the view of the wetlands into artistic vignettes, constantly shifting as I ascend. It feels open and breathable—the perforations allow the coastal breeze to flow freely through the structure, blurring the line between the protected interior and the wild nature outside.
